Ryan Ballard, Owner

Western Maryland Solar, LLC was founded by Ryan Ballard.  Ryan served as an Airborne Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne during the mid and late 90s.  Since then, he has realized what he wants to do when he grows up….. install Solar on as many roof tops as possible!  He obtained his degree in Alternative Energy Technology from Hagerstown Community College.  He worked as a Solar Engineer, as well as Project Leader for multiple Solar projects at Hagerstown Community College.  Ryan also taught an Introduction to Solar class for Blue Ridge Community College. When not working, Ryan spends his time with his wife and 3 children.
